The Cowrie

The Cowrie is a restaurant offering Seafood located in Terrigal. Enjoy a gorgeous 6 course menu with a glass of sparkling wine on arrival and Santa will be visiting with gifts for the children. Bookings are essential with pre-payment of the menu confirming your reservation.

We are celebrating New Years Eve at The Cowrie this year with an early sitting from 6 - 8pm and a $75 - 3 course menu including a glass of sparkling on arrival.

Our late sitting will be from 8.30pm and we are offering a full degustation menu with matching wine and live entertainment for $150 per guest. Large screen TV's will link to the Sydney fireworks and our free guest transfer is available around the local area. The Cowrie introduces you to our new venture at Murrays Beach, Lake Macquarie, The Lakehouse Cafe.

Open 7 days a week from 9 till 5 for breakfast and lunch as well as dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Cowrie is the perfect venue for your end of year function. Call Selena, our function manager for information on availability, menus and pricing. We also have a private dining room which seats up to 30 guests, ideal for smaller office parties or special occasions.

We have a shuttle service for the local area and offer set menus and beverage packages.
