The Occidental Hotel

The Occidental Hotel is a Steak house located in Sydney. The Occidental is a Victorian Regency Style Hotel and is the oldest building in Wynyard Square; its resurrection dating back to 1850.

Conveniently located in the CBD; just minutes from Wynyard Station and close to all major tourist attractions, The Occidental is one of the last five surviving hotels of this style and its foundations are now Heritage Listed. Largely untouched until the 1970’s, the hotel retained its original functions into the 1980’s when three floors were adapted for use as a restaurant, a function room and accommodation rooms.
